This Privacy Policy explains what information Trablind (trablind.com) collects when you visit the site, how that information is used, and the choices you have. Trablind is operated by Travelnote (트래블노트), South Korea. If you have any question about this policy, email us at travelnote.biz@gmail.com.
What information do we collect?
You can read every page on Trablind without creating an account or telling us who you are. We collect only the following:
- Information you send us. If you use our contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address and message. We use it only to reply to you and keep it only as long as needed for that conversation.
- Usage data. Like most websites, our server and analytics tools record technical information such as your browser type, device, approximate location (country or city level), referring page, pages visited and time spent on them.
- Cookies and similar technologies. Small files stored in your browser, described in the next sections.
How do we use cookies?
- Essential cookies remember your language choice (English, 日本語, 繁體中文, 简体中文, Tiếng Việt, Bahasa Indonesia or ไทย) and keep the site working and fast.
- Analytics cookies. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which guides are useful and which need improvement. Google Analytics reports are aggregated; we do not use them to identify individual visitors. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Advertising cookies, described below.
How does advertising work on Trablind?
Trablind uses Google AdSense to show ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
What about affiliate links?
Some links to hotels, tours, flights and transport are affiliate links. When you click one, the booking site may set its own cookie so that it can credit Trablind if you make a booking. We do not receive your name, payment details or booking details — only anonymous, aggregated commission reports. Once you leave Trablind, the privacy policy of the site you visit applies. Affiliate relationships never change what we recommend; see our About page for how we fund the site.
Do we sell or share your personal information?
No. We do not sell personal information. We share information only with the service providers that run the site (our web host, Google Analytics and Google AdSense as described above), or when the law requires it.
What are your choices and rights?
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without them, although your language choice will not be remembered.
- You can ask us to access, correct or delete any personal information you sent us by emailing travelnote.biz@gmail.com. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, CCPA or Korea’s Personal Information Protection Act), you may have additional rights, and we will respond to requests within 30 days.
Children’s privacy
Trablind is a general-audience travel site and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will also be noted on this page.
